I'm Harry Wang. Since 2016, I have been helping clients arrange lending for their homes, investment properties and businesses. My background spans accounting, banking and finance.

Based in Johnsonville, I work with individuals, families and business owners in Wellington and across New Zealand. You'll work directly with me, with advice explained in language you feel comfortable with.

From first-home purchases and switching banks to commercial and construction lending, I take the time to understand your plans. I also help with house, property and car insurance.

This policy explains how Trusted Mortgage Advice Limited (FSP762772), operating as Trusted Financial Group Wellington, handles personal information in connection with enquiries and advice services. Your adviser is Harry Wang (FSP493106).

Information we collect and why

We collect information needed to respond to you, understand your circumstances, provide advice, arrange or review lending and related services, and meet applicable legal and regulatory obligations. Depending on the service, this may include your name, contact details, identity information, employment, income, expenses, assets, debts, property details and supporting documents.

You can choose whether to provide information. Without information necessary for a requested service, we may be unable to advise you or progress an application. If particular information is required by law, we will explain the relevant requirement when collecting it.

Where information comes from

Whenever reasonably possible, we collect information directly from you. Where appropriate and authorised or otherwise permitted by law, we may obtain information from lenders, providers, other advisers, your professional representatives, credit reporting agencies or public records. When collecting indirectly, we will take reasonable steps to notify you as required by the Privacy Act 2020, unless an exception applies.

How information is used and shared

We use information for the purposes explained when it is collected. Where necessary for those purposes, recipients may include lenders or product providers relevant to your enquiry or application, your authorised representatives, service providers supporting our business, and Link Financial Group 2022 Limited (FSP1004590), our Financial Advice Provider, for advice oversight and compliance. Information may also be disclosed where you authorise it or the law requires or permits it.

Where information is disclosed overseas, the applicable Privacy Act safeguards must be met. Different rules may apply to providers processing information solely on our behalf. Ask Harry for details about recipients relevant to your application.

Security and retention

We are responsible for taking reasonable steps to protect information against loss, unauthorised access, use or disclosure. Information is retained only for as long as needed for the purposes for which it may lawfully be used, including applicable record-keeping obligations.

This website

This website provides telephone and email links and a message window. Details entered into the message window remain in the page until you choose to continue in your email app; the website does not send or store those entries on a server. You must review and send the message in your email app. There is no online application or document-upload form. Please contact Harry to arrange an appropriate way to provide sensitive supporting documents.

We have not added advertising trackers or analytics scripts to these pages. The hosting platform may process technical data, such as IP addresses and browser information, and use cookies for site delivery, security or access. External websites, including Google and NZ Adviser, have their own privacy practices.

Your rights and privacy concerns
